Our client, a world leading vendor specialising in products, services and solutions for information management and storage, requires an experienced mid-level Technical Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis. 

You will manage the delivery of the project plan, the detailed Statement of Work (SOW) and Services Proposal content for multiple small projects with a focus on SAN, NAS and replication software. 

This is a customer facing role where you will take projects from architectural design through to implementation and delivery.  To be successful in this position you must have the following:

• 3 years project management experience

• 6-8 years IT industry experience focused on infrastructure solutions

• PMI certification or other formal project management training

• Experience in budget tracking, project mapping and planning

• Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple projects and deliverables

• Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills

• Experience within a Corporate and commercial client base

The ideal candidate will have vendor, outsourcer or systems integration background and have knowledge of storage products (eg. HP, EMC, IBM) 

Location: Melbourne CBD (travel between project sites will be required) 

Contract: 6-12 month contract 

Rate: $500-$550 per day negotiable
