Due to continued growth and expansion, this leading financial company has a newly created role for a Midrange Support Leader.
Working with a medium to large sized application and support team, your key responsibility is to ensure the availability, performance and functionality of mid range applications continue to meet the defined specifications and service levels required by the business. Responsibilities include receivables, applications, marketing, business intelligence, banking and e-commerce applications. The mid range support Leader will manage the provision of application support to defined SLA’s for production applications, specifically system availability. The diverse nature of the company provides a challenging, growing environment where communication and matrix management skills will be continuously tested.
The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified with a proven track record in an IT management role and a background in mid range applications. You will have IT experience from either an IT problem management, technical or project management perspective. Candidates will have strong knowledge of and experience with application technologies, such as IBM domino, web application, Datawarehousing and AS400. Applicants must have a midrange application background and have managed in an outsourcing environment. ITIL certification will be highly regarded.
