Data Analyst - CTP Claims, Sydney CBD, Permanent $90,000 pa...

Leading Insurance Company based in Sydney's CBD is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their CTP Customer Development & Injury Claims division who are responsible for the Development of reporting and analytical tools for the CTP Claims business within NSW. This role will be responsible for:

- Provision of a high level of claims analysis, recommendations and advice to Management and Leadership Teams.
- Provision of detailed claims analytical services & support to Injury Claims Team Leaders and Claims Management Specialists
- Proactive analysis of claims data & liaison with Management where trends requiring action are identified
- Provision of quality input into analytical tools which have been created for the Department
- Development and enhancement of the suite of Claim Analysis Tools
- Development of the performance tools to analyse and report on business performance- Analyse and problem solve complex scenarios

To be successful in this role you will have previous demonstrable experience in a similar role as well as:

- Excellent analytical, problem solving, analysis and reporting skills
- Strong Database Administration skills including the design, development and maintenance of database solutions
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel & Outlook
- Sound knowledge on usage of COGEN systems used by CTP
- Good understanding of CTP personal injury claims
