6 month contract Providing consultancy and database administration to customers of Ingres Database Management Service. Be the Ingres Subject Matter Expert for transformation projects. Establishment, Operation and management of Databases - Including troubleshooting issues and providing solutions. ackup and Recovery - Ensure that appropriate backups are implemented and recovery strategies are in place. Perform Database Incident/Problem Management and on-call/scheduled outage support for assigned customers. Security - Adhere and implement security policies to customer requirements. Release Management and application of patches and upgrades. Follow all Change Management procedures with a focus on Quality Assurance and Version Control. Technical Documentation - Provide complete, accurate and up-to-date documentation for standards, procedures and methodologies. Accountable for the quality of delivery of service.
