Large IT Company...Program Test Manager...Permanent...$ Negotiable

Our Client services a number of clients in the area of testing and in particular test planning, execution, governance and consultancy. As engagements and service offerings with our clients expand, so does the need to have an experienced Test Manager with a strong focus on delivery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Test Management and governance activities over multiple projects
  
• Provide consulting and support on projects as required
  
• Mentoring and coaching of testing staff and test managers
  
• Development of Test Strategies / incl. manual & automated test approaches
• 
  
• Undertaking Test Assessments
  
• Ensure testing process are implemented
  
• Working with stakeholders as an escalation point for testing issues
  
• Audit testing projects in accordance with internal testing processes
  
• Lead Training courses for testing staff
• Lead generation and RFP/I responses

Technical Skills/Experience Requirements

• Eight years demonstrated test management experience
  
• Extensive experience of Test Strategy and Test Approach creation for large projects
  
• Client relationships and their management including project governance
  
• In-depth understanding of testing methodologies and their practical implementation
  
• Ability to 'sell' testing and its benefits to existing and potential clients
  
• Mercury Toolset knowledge (preferred)
  
• ISEB/ ISTQB certified (preferred)
  
• Mercury Certified (desirable)
  
• Experience in training (desirable)
  
• Multiple platform (WEB & Mainframe) exposure
  
• PMP certification (desirable)

The successful candidate will Large Corp experience as much of our business is centred around large time critical projects for large national/international clients operating within interface rich and complex environments.
