A 6 month + contract opportunity has become available with Australia's largest international financial organization for a Senior Storage Specialist to provide design, project and escalated global support services across Australia, NZ, Asia, US (New York) and the UK.
Our client is dedicating $1.8B to technology projects over the next 18 months and joining an established capability and design team within the Global Storage team you will play a key role across multiple large-scale projects as a Storage SME.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in the design, implementation and management of UNIX and Windows storage environments incorporating multi-vendor storage solutions. In particular your expertise and knowledge will include:
Extremely good understanding of Storage management Tools - e.g. EMC Navispshere, NetApp Filerview, EMC ECC
Extremely good understanding of Storage Technologies- e.g NAS, SAN, Zoning, SRDF, Mirrorview, Snapmirror,
In-depth understanding of Veritas Netbackup V5, Veritas Volume Manager products and SAN switching productions eg Cisco 9509
Strong understanding of Storage architecture
