SENIOR MANAGEMENT OPPORTUNITY - LEADING ORGANISATION - STRATEGIC, LINE MANAGEMENT AND PROJECT FOCUSED

Our client is looking for a General Manager to own IT strategic direction, identify projects and manage a medium to large sized technical team.

Overseeing the platform and server functions, your responsibilities will include:
- strategic direction and technical architecture
- leading teams across various technologies, including global matrix management
- motivating and developing teams
- working closely with internal customers to improve the IT function and KPI's of teams
- managing strategic partners and vendors

To be considered for the role you must have proven experience in all of the above, and in particular:
- excellent people management skills in a large demanding environment
- line management of technical infrastructure teams
- broad technical knowledge of platforms and in particular Unix and Windows
- strong strategic / architecture experience

- excellent presentation, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
