Our client Australia's leading service provider requires a Firewall Specialist to join their Business Support team providing ongoing support to the business. You will be responsible for ensuring Security and Business controls are in place for networking equipment. WAN/LAN, firewall support and administration, problem determination, resolution and implementation work. This position is a part of a Network Services Delivery Group and is responsible for all delivery, security assessment certification and compliance.

Responsibilities include:

• Firewall implementation and admin support
  
• Accurately record / update in problem management systems network alarms and faults
  
• Liaise with other technical areas to ensure customer report4ed problems are solved
  
• Develop, implement and maintain processes and procedures as required

Successful applicant will have:

• Sound experience in WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, firewall and Network Security support
  
• Vendor and third party supplier liaison skills
  
• Problem and change management skills
  
• Must have STRONG PIX and Nokia CHECKPOINT firewall Management and support.
