DESKTOP SUPPORT SPECIALIST - PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to provide excellent support and customer service to a number of divisions within a large financial services organisation. You will provide application and operating system support, including:

- support of SOE Desktop environment
- troubleshooting and resolution of faults and issues
- handling and analysing support calles to address root causes and common issues
- testing and implementing operating system and SOE upgrades

To be considered for the role you must have the following experience:
- proven desktop support experience with a large corporate organisation
- strong knowledge of Windows 2000, XP, MS Office and networking
- experience in investigating problems and preventing re-occurence
- able to work under pressure and work with all levels of management
- excellent customer services skills and able to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks
