Job Description:
Applies broad knowledge of company product capabilities and service offerings to create and maintain a portfolio of generic baseline product/solution alternatives that can be enhanced and customized to meet specific needs for client/prospect organizations.
May specialize in a specific field or industry. Utilizes broad portfolio-building approach, detailed subject matter expertise and communication skills to create and present innovative solutions for consulting sales to pursue for new and existing accounts.
Applies business knowledge and “go to market” strategies to the development of client-facing solutions, build-out cost estimates and sales support requirements for service offerings and related capabilities.
Generally provides a core idea or springboard concept that meets the requirements for an overall solution. Leverages portfolio best practices across enterprise. Leads value creation activities at industry and client events. May require client-facing presentation and typically requires strong communication ability, creativity and flexibility as well as technical expertise. At career job levels, this role supports the development of a portfolio concept or product extension to new markets using established techniques. At higher levels, this position is an innovative thinker and advocate for new alternative concepts and technology applications and brings significant experience as a consultant/solutions architect to the role of leveraging specific solutions into modules for application in varied situations.
