An articulate self starter with leadership potential, you possess excellent interpersonal/communication skills as well as a strong track record for fast and efficient problem solving.
While previous telecoms and Vendor experience is highly regarded, your quick intelligence in diagnosing/solving problems in a fast paced environment is just as important. Exposure to IT Operations/Systems Administration is a bonus and good testing skills a must. While experience in Oracle, Unix(Solaris and HP UX) is mandatory, proficiency in one or more of the following - C, Java, ORACLE/PLSQL, Python C++, PERL and SHELL programming and Weblogic is advantageous. Your knowledge of telco billing systems (ideally mediation and provisioning) is a definite bonus. Some of your duties will include prompt response to customer problems, dialogue with development team regarding code changes,dialogue with customers regarding progress and resolution,participation in regular SLA reviews with customers and management, QA of new software releases and on site implementation of new installations.
