APPLICATION TEST ANALYST 

Due to our client’s expansion of services within the business group, they have an opening for an Application Test Analyst. This role requires at least 3 years experience in a testing environment, ideally with an appreciation of real-time applications. This is an opportunity for an individual to grow into a Test Leadership role. Candidates from either the financial markets or telecommunications industry will be highly regarded. Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Testing business applications, including developing test plans/ scripts and performing system, integration and UAT testing.
• Both manual and automated testing to be completed
• Work in close liaison with the business and development teams.

• Experience of real-time applications in a financial markets or telecommunication environment will be regarded.
• Testing within a UNIX (Solaris) environment.
• A knowledge of testing methodologies, documentation and automated test skills would be an advantage.
• Experience of Unit, System/ Integration and User Acceptance Testing is essential
• Experience within an investment bank including equity product knowledge, FIX protocols would be highly desirable.
