TECHNICAL WRITER / BUSINESS ANALYST
TECHNICAL WRITER - 6 MONTH CONTRACT - FINANCIAL SERVICES!
Our client is offering a 6 month contract to an experienced Technical Writer based in North Sydney. This is an opportunity to work within an international financial services company.
To be successful you will have a minimum of 4+ years experience as Technical writer with at least 2 years experience in Application Management
PRIMARY ROLE PURPOSE:
Specifically to collate, edit, write, design of IT documentation including policy, process, procedures, and technical standard.
The role will also involve; engaging teams and individuals, holding or assisting with workshops for Subject Matter Experts, liaising with multiple stakeholders.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
IT Technical writing - experience collate, edit, write, design of IT documentation including policy, process, procedures, technical standards
Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
Ability to explain / represent complex ideas in a simple manner eg a diagram
Ability to work with Subject Matter Experts to analyse similar or overlapping documents and make recommendations eg consolidation, clear separation of purpose/use etc
Sound knowledge and experience of IT Application Management eg Systems Development Life Cycle, Maintenance and Support, Change Management, Release Management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work autonomously
