Excellent contract opportunity exists for a Telco gun.
The role includes the following activities:
Manage the DSL-AM program of Work
liaise with all stakeholders, internal operational groups, support groups, Network engineering teams and project managers.
Review documentation relating to all changes in the DSL network for impact on the DSL-AM system Contribute as well as review documentation - eg. FS, interface specs, Architecture, RDD's SAD's test plans etc.
Review all proposed changes to the DSL-AM system
Co-ordinate changes to the DSL-AM system following all the required process. This includes firewall related changes, raising CIPs, arranging resources for testing, communicating with all relevant stakeholders
Work with the SI & Operations teams to track and manage Capacity of the DSL-AM system/platform
Identify and manage all system/platform life cycle requirements - operational, network related, any third party component used by DSL-AM
Initiate, evaluate & manage all change requests
To be successful in this role you should have:
Good understanding of ADSL network technology
Fair understanding of how other DSL OSS' fits in with DSL-AM
Fair (minimum user level) understanding of Netcool
Ablility to be able to do some basic testing
A fair understanding of SDLC
Ability to quickly grasp and develop understanding of the DSL-AM Netcool architecture and components
Able to work independently with minimum direction and supervision
Good customer liasion skills
Good communication skills
Good Team player
