Database Architect
12 Month contract with the option to extend - SQL Server
A large government client is looking for a Database Architect to provide the following services:
Data modelling;
Database design;
Maintenance of physical database structures;
Version control of database definition scripts;
Programming of stored procedures and triggers;
Preparation and execution of scripts to apply database changes to test and production environments;
Data management tasks related to application interfaces; and
Monitoring, reporting and correction of data accuracy and quality problems.
The successful applicant will have extensive knowledge and experience in the following:
Administration of medium-sized SQL Server databases;
Design and maintenance of SQL Server database objects, including stored procedures and triggers; and
Composition and tuning of SQL statements.
