Gateway Design/Operations Specialist
12 Month contract - Woden based
A large government client is looking for Gateway Design/Operations Specialist to provide design expertise in the following areas:
High Availability Gateway Design
Firewall Gateway Design
Layer 4-7 Switch Design
Cisco Infrastructure Design
Solaris Jumpstart Design
Solaris 8 upgrade/lockdown
The successful applicants will have demonstrated expertise in the following:
Design, implementation and operation of High Availability Gateways, including expertise in firewalls and related enterprise gateway technologies, and layer 4-7 switches.
Unix Operating System management, support, problem diagnosis and security hardening.
Functional and security expertise with Internet and Intranet technologies, including proxies, caches, communications protocols (e.g. HTTP/S, TCP/IP) and Web servers.
Applicants for this opportunity will need to be Australian citizens and able to obtain a security clearance.
