An excellent long term opportunity exists within a large government client for an Internet Gateway Data Communications Specialist. You will provide expertise in the management of their internal Internet Gateway.

Whilst we preferred you to have solid experience in the technologies used within a gateway environment (i.e. firewalls, DNS, IPS, Proxy, Mail), we are also looking for an individual who specialises in data communications.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Extensive experience with the design and operation of data communications and network security facilities using TCP/IP protocols, Cisco and other networking technologies

Significant experience in providing technical support for gateway facilities including experience in configuring, managing and supporting security equipment

Applicants for this position will need to be an Australian citizen as a security clearance is required to be obtained and maintained for the duration of the contract.
