PERMANENT POSITION - NORTH RYDE LOCATION - GREAT OPPORUNITY

The successful candidate will be required to provide technical support for a Mainframe Engineering functional organisation. You will research and plan platform critical upgrades for CICS and related Products, and this will include Installations, Upgrades, and Apply Maintenance and provide technical support for IBM and Third party products.
The position will involve a high degree of technical complexity and a significant level of customer interface.

Primary areas of responsibilities include participation in client upgrade projects, tailoring Software Products to fit client customization, testing and implementation into production.

Some of the essentials you need are:
- A thorough understanding of Mainframe components covering the areas of CICS and its related products, including security, interconnectivity of various subsystems to different platforms, and CICSPlex where applicable.


- 10 years plus related experience or the equivalent combination of education/experience
- A full understanding of system architecture and the installation process for a large mainframe environment.
