An exciting opportunity has arisen with a Leading General Insurance Company based in Sydney's CBD who are currently looking for an experienced Team Leader to lead their Business Solutions Design team (BSD). The BSD team is responsible for consulting with the business to identify opportunities to leverage maximum benefit from IT; it translates business ideas and initiatives into application solutions. This role will essentially be responsible for leading a team of 12-15 Business Analysts, Systems Analysts and Solutions Analysts.

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate previous commercial experience in a similar role as well as:- Experience in a leadership capacity (project lead or team lead) with knowledge of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodology as well as design, facilitation and documentation.
- Extensive IT experience in a Consultant, Specialist or Team Leader role.
- Ability to effectively plan and manage multiple demands and activities of varying complexity with conflicting priorities involving multiple business lines and time constraints.
- Expert facilitation and workshop skills.
- Motivated with the ability to self manage and work as a team player who is driven to optimise the customer experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to drive quality and continuous improvement.
- Acumen in business and technology trends.
