If you are a Centura/Gupta Analyst Programmer and ready to make an integral contribution to the success of our client's project, then here is the role for you.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop/implement changes to source code according to the functional specifications provided.
  
  
• Perform unit and integration testing of the system functionality.
  
  
• Liaise with PL/SQL or database developers for development and testing of supporting Oracle data model, procedures and functions.
  
  
• Liaise with Report Developers for development and testing of reports and correspondence generation.
  
  
• Liaise with System Testers for issues related to testing.

The following experience will ensure your success in this position:-

Minimum 5 years experience in a programming/development role.

• Extensive experience with Centura/Gupta Team Developer or a similar Windows-based development language using object oriented and/or message based processing paradigms.
  
  
• Extensive experience with development of application software using relational databases, preferably with Oracle 9 or later, using SQL and stored procedures.
  
  
• Detailed knowledge of programming concepts including object orientation, e.g. multiple inheritance and polymorphism.
  
  
• Proven ability to implement information processing applications in the Windows environment connecting to relational databases.
  
  
• Well developed communication skills to participate in a large team environment and interact with other developers, team management and others from the full project team (business analysts, system testers, etc.).
