BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER o Global leader in IT consulting o New Business Development focus o Financial / Telecommunications verticals Currently employing over 25,000 staff worldwide, this leading provider of IT consulting solutions has an enviable track record of delivery, a unique culture of ownership and innovation and an extensive client list across the government and enterprise sectors. The Australian business unit has experienced exponential growth in the last two years and has secured a number of major long term engagements. Due to this continuing success they now require a Business Development Manager to pro-actively source and secure new consulting opportunities. Target sectors will be the larger players in the financial services and telecommunication markets. Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be tasked with managing the sales process from inception to completion and developing a pipeline of consulting opportunities within these markets. You will need to possess extensive knowledge of the Australian business environment together with a demonstrable track record of achievement in this space. This will include successfully selling services based IT solutions into executive level decision makers and a wide ranging network of coaches and contacts to leverage from. You will also need exceptional communication and listening skills, a strong commercial focus and the ability to multi-task at all times. You must also be a self starter and possess drive, creativity and tenacity to succeed in the role.
