The primary role of a Solution Designer - Siebel is to take high-level marketing/business requirements and translate them into a technical, functional, and operational design specifications.

You will be responsible for maintainint 6 environments with up to date code & reference data. This includes workflows, run-time evens, reports & DVM.

It will be expected that this role act as the Broad Knowledge Expert (Business and technical level) for the assigned system portfolio. This includes the full resolution of any issue, request or service, coordinating subject matter experts and other resources that may span numerous domains as necessary.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining environments through ref data and repository code migration
• Evaluating business problems and developing solution designs for the affected areas.
• Coordinating with other Solution /Designers to ensure end-to-end design coverage across the IT domains.
• Developing the requirements traceability matrix based on the business requirements showing that all requirements are either covered or explicitly rejected
• Developing specifications for proposed solutions to allow programmers to code the solution.
  Build and Test of Solution

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills:

• Siebel 7 Certified Consultant
• Minimum of twelve months Siebel 7 Configuration Experience
• Five years Systems Development/Testing/User Support Experience.
• Experience of detailed solution design and modelling
• Incident analysis and resolution (warranty support)
• Root cause analysis and design of problem rectification (warranty support)
• Siebel User Interface design and screen/work flow min 3 years experience
• Siebel EIM
• Operating systems system management (Digital Unix / Tru-64 / HP UX / AIX / VMS / NT / Sun-OS)
• Knowledge of SQL
• VB Skills

Desirable

• Oracle Principles, Tuning and configuring
• Solid knowledge of web server, application server and database server infrastructure, including underlying technologies such as middleware and J2EE.
• Business analysis/business process definition experience.
• Programming knowledge.
