TEAM LEADER – GROWTH & RETENTION

Zintel Australia is looking for a motivated Team Leader to lead our growth and retention team. In this role your key accountabilities would be:

  • Drive growth of revenue from our existing customer base.
  • Maximise retention of customers in the portfolio (minimise churn targets)
  • Lead and motivate a team of account managers to achieve growth and customer satisfaction targets
  • Develop and implement robust and scalable processes that will ensure we exceed our customer’s expectations.
  • Train a team of account managers on new product, sales process, marketing campaigns, as they are developed.
  • Work in a matrix fashion across the Zintel organisation to ensure delivery of excellent customer service and the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is motivated, focussed and energetic
  • Has demonstrated experience in leading and motivating a high performance team
  • Has sound knowledge of the products and technologies available
  • Has an understanding of the customer service / provisioning / credit control / product processes.
  • Is a successful sales person, with a track record of exceeding their sales targets
  • Has proven experience in customer relationship management
  • Is able to contribute significantly to our business plan goals
  • Is driven by a desire to succeed

    • Manage the completion of the UID’s and Data Integrity reports to ensure a seamless and an on-time bill run.
    • Weekly reporting to management on customer, installation, faults and customer service issues.

    The organisation delivers and manages IT infrastructure solutions and, using an end-to-end ITIL-methodology for their Consulting and Service Delivery, they have gained a strong track record of successful project delivery and execution.


    The BDM will be required to:

    • Introduce new customer sales of Managed Services initially in the SME sector (150-150 seats) as well as broadening the incremental revenue from existing customers, where applicable
    • Research and collect data on each sales prospect; understanding their decision making processes, organisational influences and competitor considerations. Build a TAS Plan for each key opportunity/customer. Build and develop intimate knowledge of M/S opportunities in SME market.
    • Identify, qualify and manage the sales process, engaging in-house resources as required.
    • Develop, prepare and create tailored financial/ROI proposals for M/S solutions
    • Report accurately and timely in line with company requirements regarding pipeline, sales process progress, lead follow-up, CRM update.
    • Maintain an accurate forecast of sales opportunities
    • Maintain a regular and consistent revenue stream in line with quota requirements.
    • Demonstrate a high level of proactive and productive activity on a daily basis


    The successful candidate will possess the following:

    Essential -
    • 3-5 years (+) experience in selling IT managed services at an Enterprise or large SME level
    • Extensive network across IT buyers, particularly in SME
    • Proven track record in selling contracted monthly revenues – consistently achieving/exceeding targets – must be detailed in Resume and verifiable with Referees.
    • Cultural fit (customer-focused, outcome oriented, obvious sense of urgency, win-the–business mentality)
    • Vision Match (Growth, Profitability, Annuity, Integrity)

    • Can assist and encourage other salespeople to become more effective selling managed services
