Reports that Apple and Orange will sell both locked and unlocked
versions of the iPhone in France have emerged, with Orange making
statements that have since been qualified by Apple – but now that third
party apps are on the way, unlocked iPhones for all could be too.

Apple have announced that Leopard OS X 10.5 will go on sale worldwide
from October 26 – packed with new features like Time Machine, Spaces
and a spruced up interface, with the new Server version of OS X on sale
the same day.
