Acer and Fujitsu have teamed to win a place on the Queensland government's notebook and PC supply panel.

The QP-707 contract is a whole of government deal that runs for five years, and is said to be the largest PC contract in Queensland.

"Acer and Fujitsu have had a long and successful relationship in the Queensland government landscape and look forward to strengthening this relationship and expanding on an already significant Queensland presence,"  said Mike Cefai, Acer's general manager of government, education and corporate sales.

"Acer's relationship with Fujitsu will ensure that true value for money and efficiency will be delivered to the client," he added.

Acer is also a supplier to the Victoria and New South Wales governments.

As previously reported, Data#3 was the only locally-owned company to gain a place on the $A100 million QP-707 panel.
