TAD is has 18 staff working in the head office housed in the Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney in Ryde, with 12 branches and interest groups throughout New South Wales that are run entirely by local volunteers with the support of Ryde staff. The Cincom solution will mainly be used for managing the process of producing made-to-order equipment for people with special needs where each item is custom designed and tailored to the individual’s requirements, and will replace numerous Excel spreadsheets and Access databases. In the future, the ERP system will be used to assist in the management of the computer loan service in the use of components from donated computers so they can be given to people with a disability. Joy Barrett, CEO of TADNSW, said they decided on the Cincom solution, Priority, due to its flexibility, ease of use and extensive functionality. “One of our main goals is to better manage the transfer of knowledge between people. With Priority we can capture and store that knowledge thereby making it available for people within the organisation to solve complex problems. “This will help our staff improve the way we allocate and manage individual jobs.” Paul Hargreaves, Managing Director of Cincom Australia, said he was very pleased that Priority would be able to assist a company with such a worthy cause.
